Marriage & Family Builders Ministry, Inc. was given its name in 2012 after being called the “Couple’s Convention” for 23 years.  The ministry began at New Jerusalem Evangelical Baptist Church in 1989 with a small number of couples.  The purpose of the ministry's retreat was to create an activity for couples at the church to work on strengthening their marriages.   The keynote speakers, who themselves have significant years of experience in marital life and conference speaking, navigate the Bible to lead the participants on the journey of marriage the way God intended it.  

Counseling have been made available to couples in need of mediation and guidance in their struggle.  Overall, many couples have participated and many marriages have been saved.  Years after its inception, the ministry has extended its reach to other churches in Massachusetts and other states. MFBM will continue to strive to save marriages and build families.
