About us
We would like to welcome you to the Marriage & Family Builders Ministry. It has always been our passion and desire to see couples strive and raise healthy children. We believe that having strong families will impact our society greatly. As someone who has been working the human service field for over two decades, I have seen the ugly side of divorce and broken families. I have seen the sadness in the eyes of children whom all they want is an intact family and a mother and father that love them. I also see the despair in the eyes of a spouse who is in the verge of losing the comfort of having an intact family. I have also witnessed the devastation that comes with the broken families. Children have been taken away; involved in detrimental acitivities such as drugs, promiscuity and delinquency. Our passion comes as a result of these experiences. If we can save one marriage, one family, a generation, a neighborhood, a church, and finally to keep a child from going to prison, then our work has been done.
This ministry has touched our lives so deeply that we are indebted to God Almighty who made us His coworkers in saving , one marriage and one family at a time.

The Co/Directors
Evens and Paula Chrysostome have been married for almost 22 years. They have been in charge of the ministry since 2001. They have a passion for the ministry and a strong desire to see couples grow and families thrive. Evens Chrysostome, has a M.Div. From Southern Seminary and Evangelistic Preacher and sought after speaker and an ordained Minister of the Gospel. . He speaks the truth in love. Paula Chrysostome, holds a Master Degree in Counseling Psychology, and PHD in Psychology with a concentration in Christian Counseling. She is licensed in the field. She is a sought after Speaker and sopke at several women and couple conferences throughout the US.
We believe that marriage is an institution created by God between one man and a woman. From this institution, the family system takes place. We believe that strong marriages produce strOng families, healthy children, healthy churches, healthy communities and as a whole healthy society.
We believe that divorce does affect the partners, the children and society. Our goal is to prevent divorce, to help marriages thrive through education, counseling, support and prayer.
